After more than two years of research and writing by CRI
The 2021 IRC Cob Construction Appendix AU and
Commentary
have been completed.

The stand alone Appendix has been published by the ICC and can now be downloaded from our website here.
The combined Appendix and Commentary will be published by the ICC in September and will also become available for download on our website.

CRI's work is far from done.
In the coming years CRI will persevere with
our many goals to advance cob:
Fire Testing of cob walls;
Improving cob's insulation properties;
Increasing cob's structural capacity;
Advancing the legal use of cob;
Future Appendix U changes.
These are just some of CRI's important goals.
